the truck looks too nice I do exactly the same, the yellow with the white wheels fits perfectly

Later on I did add a delay of 2 seconds in the void setup(), ant that seems to rally do the trick.

Wow, I can already tell it is not only improvements to the machine in the end result, but also to the build process. That is awesome that you could put the screws onto the motors with a mounting bracket then feed them into the machine later - we did not have that on stepcraft 2. It was harder because we had to feed them through to make that connection later. You will have a more easily aligned machine because of it, most likely. You still building her?

In my day, we had to print our own instruction manual. Stepcraft 2 :P

how did this all turn out? First I saw of a hydraulic version, pretty cool. If finished the project how did those n20 motors hold up for push power? They seem as if they would be a bit small for the job or burn up under heavy load? Never built one with ever using n20 motors on any bruder. Very interesting cool channel I just came across

Try mounting the single speed gearbox to the bottom of the chassis upside down, that has worked for me in the past with my own single speed conversion.

Just wondering why build a 6x6 if it is going to be an on road truck?

Makes sense on a road only truck and really if you have a really heavy load. Now a big improvement if you wanna keep the locked diffs is use the the fully adjustable and pivoting fifth wheel from LESU part # M-7004-B. It allows you to slide the hitch point forward as needed to put more weight on the front steer tires to help with turning.
